Overview: In Berlin in the year 2030, young Tim Burdenski is found seriously injured on the Gendarmenmarkt. Following an emergency call from a cab driver, he is taken to hospital but dies despite a delayed emergency operation. Journalist Lena Bach begins to investigate, as the 30-year-old is one of ten so-called "millennium children" who have been followed by a television team in a long-term documentary since his birth on January 1, 2000. All of them come from the middle class.
